University of Tennessee

Virtual Prayer Breakfast

hosted by Collegiate Abbey

We invite you to join us on Wednesday, August 12, 7:30 a.m. for this virtual prayer gathering as we enter this truly unprecedented academic year together.

This event will be entirely online and therefore safe and accessible and will feature four short, guided prayer times that will be introduced and guided by leaders from the university and city.

It will be a short (12-15 minutes) but an important time for us to come together to seek God as we begin this semester.  You can help multiply the number of people praying by sharing this link.

James 5:16b - “The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

If you are unable or miss it, the recording will be available for viewing after the event.

Would you please consider sharing this prayer event with your friends, your colleagues, your churches, UT alumnus, and anyone else who loves and cares for our university and our Lord.

Thank you, may God bless, and Go Big Orange!

"In the midst of the busyness of preparing for a new academic year,

I am so thankful that Collegiate Abbey provided time to pause and offer our labors and those with whom and for whom we serve to the Lord."

- Shawn Slate, Pastor Redeemer Knoxville

"The prayer breakfast last year was deeply encouraging. To be able to start the day with prayer for faculty, staff and campus units—serves as a reminder and recognition that the work we do matters and is impactful."

- Lola Alapo, Public Information Officer UTPD
