Philippians 2:3
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.
Request:
Heavenly Father,
Forgive us God when we chose selfish pride in being “right” over humility valuing others and building compassion and peace in our relationships. May our students use their time in college to expand their opportunities to learn from other points of view and experiences that are different from their own. May they find a desire to truly hear others and understand how to build connections and relationships with people in the community who hold different world views. In turn, may our students walk into the world and model citizenship where differences are not the end of connection.
