Theme: Kindness
Focus: May our students see the loneliness of others and develop more meaningful relationships
Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Request:
Heavenly Father,
May the students at the University of Tennessee be known as a community ripe with the fruit of the spirit. May loneliness be pulled out by its roots where it seeks to grow in the recesses of residence halls, the back rows of crowded lecture halls or the corners of campus dining rooms. May the soil of the campus foster a rich foundation where students may thrive connecting with one another in kindness and creating relationships that encourage the hearts of one another as college students and the decades that follow. Give them eyes to see others in the loving way You see each of your children. May You draw each student into relationship with You with the Light and Love they find in one another.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
